Fond du Lac Commonwealth Reporter, Mon. Dec. 1, 1947, p. 16, c. 1. Funeral services for Edgar Guelig of Theresa, who died Sunday morning at St. Agnes hospital, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Theresa church from the Beck funeral home in that village where the body will lie in state after 1 p.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Fr. Groff will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery. Born Sept. 20, 1893, at Johnsburg he was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Guelig. Following his marriage to Margaret Horsch at Marytown, he was engaged in the cheese business at Malone before moving to Theresa where he continued in business until 10 years ago when he became field man for the Baker Canning company of Theresa. Surviving, in addition to the widow, are five daughters and four sons, Mrs. Gertrude Miller, Town of Theresa; Mrs. Gustave Luhn, Mrs. Rozene Franzen, Mrs. Arnold Ries, all of Milwaukee; Marie at home; Leo, Theresa; Raymond, Mayville; Robert, Milwaukee, and Edgar, Jr., at home. There are eight grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. Marcella Sabel, Brandon, and Mrs. Cordula Koenen, Kiel, and three brothers, George of Eldorado and Oscar and Alex of Johnsburg.
