Daughter of James William and Cora Mae (Pilant) Walker, wife and mother.Cletha Eleanor Walker was born on July 22, 1924 in Holbert, Oklahoma.

Cletha and George were united in marriage in Mt. View, California, where George was stationed in the Navy. Together they raised 6 children, 4 boys and 2 girls.

On January 7, 1961, Cletha was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses. Her life revolved around her family and her whole souled devotion to her God Jehovah. She was not only George's partner in marriage for 69 years, she also filled the role of his partner in the ministry, Bible study, and prayer. Like Anna of old, she never missed a meeting. Cletha was a diligent student of the Bible and loved doing research on the scriptures. She is remembered as sitting at the dining room table filling the margins of her Watchtower with notes. Despite Cletha's suffering with Alzheimers and Parkinsons Diseases for many years, she always had a smile on her face. Although she is gone, the spiritual example she set for her family and others around her will be remembered for years to come.

Cletha leaves behind: her husband, George Parker; four sons, Gary (Dolly) Parker of Hopkinsville, Kentucky, Ronald (Ruth) Parker of Sioux Falls, SD, Greg (Leanne) Parker of Sioux Falls, SD, and Michael Parker of Lennox, SD; two daughters, Sonja (Bradley) Boon of Sioux Falls, SD, and Tamara (Dave) Kirby of Santa Fe, NM; 16 Grandchildren; 22 Great-Grandchildren; two brothers, Granville (Florence) Walker of Wagoner, OK, and Arnold (Billie) Walker of Porter, OK; sister-in-law, Thelma Walker of Broken Arrow, OK; and numerous other relatives and friends. Cletha is preceded in death by: her parents, William and Cora Mae Walker; 5 brothers, Vernie, Elba, Frank, Bobby, and Homer Walker; and 2 sisters, Naomi Hudson and Opal Long.

A Memorial Service will be held on July 13, 2013 at 2:00 pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 4900 West 49th Street, Sioux Falls, SD.
