He had one brother and several sisters listed in the 1840 Census. He is related to Lovina Adams Rowell 1822-1902, wife of Erastus Rowell of St. Lawrence Co., NY.

Husband of Fannie Mariah Moore born Feb. 9, 1849 NY, daughter of Elias Moore & Mary Jane Purington. Married Dec. 24, 1866 Jackson Co., Iowa.
Fannie died Nov. 24, 1936 in Santa Rosa, CA.

Harriet "Hattie" Louise Hopkins Haddox 1868-1955, daughter of William Henry Hopkins and Kate Moore, kept a scrapbook as a child in Stratford, IA which I now have. In it are many colorful calling cards from the 1870's including ones for her cousins Nellie, Mary and Clara. Hattie's mother Kate Moore was the adopted daughter of (Henry) George Moore, brother of Elias Moore, and sons of Phineas Moore, Jr. b1777 & Polly Newman b1778.
