Services will be at 3 p.m. today in Temple Of Adoration in Friona with Aurelio Silva, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in Friona Cemetery. Arrangements are by
Blackwell-Mullins Funeral Home of Friona.
Mr. Acosta was born Jan. 4, 1970, in Mexico to Jesus Manuel and Esperanza Marquez Acosta. He was a longtime employee of Cargill Meat Solutions in Friona.
Survivors include his wife, Elia Acosta of Friona; two daughters, Brenda and Anaruth Acosta of Friona; a son, Sergio Acosta Jr. of Friona; his mother, Esperanza Acosta of Friona; a brother, Luis Acosta of Garden City, Kan.; three sisters, Ofelia Acosta of Phoenix, Graciela Acosta of Friona and Oralia Acosta of Mexico; and a grand daughter.
