George married Karen Andor June 7, 1969. They had three children, Geoffrey, Travis and Keli. George was in the Marine Corps for 20 years and then retired to Washington. After his retirement from the service, George started this own business, G & K Landscaping and Lawn Care in Sequim, Washington. The business was started on a shoestring with the help of his father inlaw Frank Andor and an very old riding lawn mower. At the time of his death the business was doing well and had built up to over 100 regular clients.
George was a proud, honest, hard working man and was a loving husband and father. Survived by his wife Karen, three children, his mother Dee Jenkins and step-father Jim Jenkins, His brother Robert Gardner and wife Patsy, brother Larry Gardner, sister Mary Schultz and her husband Henry and sister inlaw Cheryl Pruitt and her husband Don and many nephews and neices. He is missed by all. He was preceded in death by his father Wilford "Bud" Gardner.
