Clementine E. MUKES died shortly after giving birth to her son James Mukes and was buried in this cemetery in the all black community of Dudley. This community cannot be located on any maps but it is one mile north of Carney and two and one half miles west. The Mukes family was engaged in a bitter battle with Whites and Indians to hold on to their land but in the end they lost the fight. There is farm land all around this cemetery and I do not think that it is being used for anything but looking at the Google Image it seems that someone is keeping the grass cut.
