Mrs. Burdick has been a patient sufferer for a long time and has been taking treatment here in in Omaha for cancer. Though she has received the best in the science of medicine and surgery, the ravages of the disease could not be checked.
The funeral was held Monday afternoon from the family residence and interment made at the Kemma cemetery.
Besides an aged husband, she leaves a number of brothers and sisters, F.W. and F.M. Carder of Creighton; four brothers and one sister in Iowa; one brother in Missouri; one brother in Indiana and one brother of Oklahoma constitute the immediate family.
John Burdick, Ed Burdick, Mrs. Otto Kinch and Mrs. Ed Hall are the surviving children and Truman Carder of Royal is a nephew.
Her maiden name was Phoebe Jennie Carder.
We extend sympathy to the many relatives in their bereavement.
