Beloved husband of Lina Mikalavicius Alpert, loving father and father-in-law of Ona E. Alpert of New Haven, Jay and Sharon Alpert of Woodbridge, Judy and Laurence Cutler of Newport, R.I. and Jeffrey Alpert of Clearwater, FL., dear brother of Mae Alpert and Ellen Alpert of Orange and the late Morton and Sherman Alpert. Cherished grandfather of Alissa Rodriguez, Lauren Magnin, Jennifer Greenwalt, Andrew Goffman, Brett Turner, Allyson Turner, Max Cutler, and Zachary Cutler. Also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
Mr. Alpert was the owner of Alpert Construction Co., and Alpert Realty for many years. He was a member of The Woodbridge Country Club, The Lions Club and Cosmopolitan Lodge 124 AF and AM Masons. He was an accomplished athlete and avid golfer.
Funeral services in the Robert E. Shure Funeral Home, 543 George St., New Haven, Thursday morning at 11:00 o'clock with interment in the North West Burial Grounds, Route 67 in Woodbridge.
