Our loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Dorene Skinner Anderson, 80, passed away peacefully on July 10, 2013 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was born on February 4, 1933 in Bedford, Wyoming to Edward Thomas and Stella Jane Turner Skinner. She attended Star Valley High School and later married Cariel Junior Anderson on March 11, 1952.
Together they had 5 children.
Dorene enjoyed crocheting, quilting, gardening and spending time in the outdoors. Most of all she loved spending time with her family. She will be missed dearly.
Dorene is survived by her children: Cindy Bunker, Todd (Debbie) Anderson, Zan Peterson and Nadell Anderson-Torres; 12 grandchildren , 12 great grandchildren; sister, Relda Nielsen Reed.She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Connie Anderson and granddaughter, Ronnie Jayne Peterson.
Funeral services for Dorene will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2013 at 1:00 pm at the Valley View Funeral Home Chapel, 4335 West 4100 South where friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the service. Interment: Valley View Memorial Park.
