We all called him Uncle Junior, even though he was a cousin by marriage. He and my Step-father, Gordon White, were very close and promised each other that whoever was left would always care for the other's spouse. As it happened, that was my Mom. After a few years they decided to combine their households and were married. They spent their summers in Golden Valley in Mom's home which had been her Mother's home. The winters were spent in EJ's home in Leamington.
