Actress. A native of New York, New York, she is best remembered for her role as 'Tammy Forrest' on the soap opera television series, "Love Of Life" from 1956 to 1970. For that role she won Emmy Awards in 1961, 1962, and 1963. She also appeared in the television series, "Tales Of Tomorrow" in 1951, and the films, "Absolute Quiet" (1936), and "The Robin Hood Of El Dorado" (1936). Also an author, she wrote the books, "Emergency," "Thirteenth Doll," "Mark Of Satan, and "Write And Sell Your Tv Drama." She died in New York following a stroke, at the age of 90.
