Maudie was a hairdresser and in her spare time she loved to sing, play the organ and guitar and paint beautiful pictures.
She was preceded in death by eight brothers and a sister.
Survivors are her beloved husband, Plummer Ashburn of Odessa; sisters, Evelyn Haught of Kermit and Fannie Blue of Clifton; and 36 nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today, Sept. 11, 2001, at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Ernest Easley officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
