Harry L. Boardwell, who died here September 25, of dropsy, was born at St. Helens, Or., in 1858. He lived the greater part of his life in and around Vancouver, until four years ago, when he moved his family to a ranch north of Camas. He later sold his ranch and purchased a home in town. Up to the time he was taken sick he was in the employ of the United States Government as a mail carrier.

Nine years ago he was married to Mrs. Allen, of Vancouver, Wash., and three children were born to them. Mr. Boardwell was a member of the Oddfellow and Red Men lodges.
