Ruth graduated from Omaha North H.S., retired from Qwest in 1999 and was currently working on her degree in early childhood education. She was a member of Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, where she was an ordained Prophetess. She was known for her beautiful hats and her famous crab salad. Ruth will always be remembered as an incredible wife, mom and grandma. Survived by husband of 21 years, Pastor Ronald Watson, Sr.; son Ronald Watson, Jr.; daughters, Shannan Oladipo and husband Olalekan Jaleel; Franchell Abdalla and husband Mohieldin; grandchildren, Myles Oliver, Caleb, Olivia, Zoe, Caitlyn, Eian Cole, Jaleel Alexander; 3 brothers and 3 sisters; many other relatives and friends.
CELEBRATION OF RUTH'S LIFE 11am Thursday, July 11, 2013 at Braman Mortuary, Southwest Chapel. VISITATIO Wednesday, 4-8pm at Braman Mortuary, Southwest Chapel. Interment Graceland Park Cemetery. Memorials to the family. Visit www.bramanmortuary.com
