She was a secretary for Lufthansa Airlines and Litton Industries of New York, and was a Navy veteran of World War II. She was Presbyterian. She was a member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary of Yankeetown and Branson, MO. Survivors include a sister, Frances Yeomans; a niece, Linda Mentesana; and cousin, Dorothy Hurley.
