Lester E. Dennis, Jr., 80, died Tuesday, June 14, 2005, at his residence. He was the husband of Mildred G. (Eisensmith) Dennis to whom he was married for 57 years. Graveside service Friday at Mount Rose Cemetery, Rev. Roger H. Mentzer officiating. Full military rites provided by York County Veterans Honor Guard. Born April 7, 1925, in York, a son of the late Lester E. Dennis, Sr. and the late Olive L. (Selmser) Dennis, he retired from Dentsply International, Inc., in 1988 after 45 years of service. He was a US Navy Veteran of WWII. Mr. Dennis was a member of Bethlehem United Methodist Church. In addition to his wife, Mr. Dennis is survived by two daughters, Pamela J. Reichard and Deborah A. Hake, both of Dallastown; two grandchildren, Jasen A. Grandstaff and Tina L. Ramerize; and three great-grandchildren, Joshua and Anastasia Grandstaff and DeLaina Ramerize. [York Daily Record]
