Monroe - Mrs. Margaret McCann, 73, died at 9:00 p.m. Friday at Masshardt Convalescent home here following an illness of eight months. She was the widow of Daniel McCann, who served as a relief railroad agent in Darien, Walworth, Monticello and Chicago.
The former Margaret Dooly, daughter of Richard and Celia O'Donnell Dooly, was born Sept. 27, 1876 in Mt. Pleasant Township. She was married May 16, 1899 to Daniel McCann who died May 13, 1941.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Albert Tobler, Rock City, Ill.; two brothers, John and Henry Dooly, Monticello, and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers.
Funeral services will be at 9:00 a.m. Monday in the Stuessy Funeral Home and at 9:30 in St. Victor's Catholic Church, of which she was a member, the Rev. E.C. Cavanaugh officiating. Burial will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Albany. The rosary will be said at 8:00 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home.
