Anna Bissell McCay was the daughter of Melville and Anna Sutherland Bissell. Melville made his fortune by designing and manufacturing carpet sweepers. (Yes, that Bissell...)

She was one of Pasadena California’s most loved philanthropists and a founding member of the American Red Cross Pasadena Chapter. The Red Cross became her life’s work.
