Rose Eugenia Karwisch, 95, of Alpharetta, passed away June 30. She was preceded in death by her husband of over 59 years, Henry Jacques "Jack" Karwisch; her sister, "Bebe" Blackwood; brother-in-law, Ned Blackwood, and her parents, Grace and Grover Cooper. She is survived by sisters-in-law Dorothy Karwisch, of Hendersonville, North Carolina; and Emily Brown, of Warner Robins; brother-in-law, Bill Karwisch, of Fairburn; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. Rose and Jack adored their 59+ years of marriage together. Their devoted service to Alpharetta First United Methodist Church began in 1963. Rose was the secretary to former pastor Dr. Hal Brady and she was a member of Fidelis Class, "54 or More", Jubilation Choir, and Mary Nallie Circle.
A memorial service was held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Alpharetta First United Methodist Church, with Dr. Don Martin officiating.
The family received friends between 10:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. at the church prior to the service. Graveside services for the family were held at Arlington Memorial Park.
