PVT US ARMY WORLD WAR II

BURLINGTON, VT. - Bernard "Bucky" Anthony Barewicz, age 76, of 96 Howard Street in Burlington, passed away on Thursday, September 5th 1991 at the Medical Center Hospital of Vermont in Burlington, Vt.

He was born on June 11th 1915 in West Rutland, Vt., he was the son of the late Stanley and Mary (Katovitch) Barewicz.

He attended West Rutland schools.

He was a Veteran of World War II, having served in the U.S. Army.

He was married to the former Mary Elizabeth Kennedy on February 15th 1941 in Rutland, Vermont. Together they had ten children; four sons and six daughters.

He was employed by The Burlington Free Press in the mailroom for 15 years and was a Supervisor at General Electric Co., retiring in 1977 after 30 years of service.

He was a member of the Christ the King Parish Church in Burlington, Vt.

He was predeceased by his parents, two sisters; Stella Jankowski and Veronica Maguda, and four brothers; Edward, Stanley, Joseph, and Walter.

Arrangements by the Ready Funeral Home, South Chapel on 261 Shelburne Road in Burlington, Vt.

Interment will follow at the Resurrection Park Cemetery in South Burlington, Vt.
