Mrs. Cox passed away peacefully on July 2, 2013.
She was born on October 21, 1930 in Long Branch to the late Joe and Cora McCormack.
She is preceded in death by three sisters, Jo Lloyd, Faye Starkey and Ruth McCormack.
Jane graduated high school in Marshall in 1948 and also attended Tyler Junior College. On February 6, 1949, she married the love of her life, Floyd Lee Cox "Sonny" and they were married for 55 loving years until his passing. Jane worked in the banking industry and retired as a Vice President of Bank of America in Tyler. She belonged to Colonial Hills Baptist Church and the Harvesters Sunday School where she found great happiness in worshipping our Lord and the fellowship and support of the other members. Jane was blessed by and enjoyed her family, friends and neighbors.
She is survived by her children, David Cox, Mark Cox, and Cindy Cox Gorman; eight grandchildren and by eight great-grandchildren.
