GREENSBURG — Benjamin (Ben) Sypher, 74, died Thursday at Kiowa County Hospital here.
Born Sept. 30, 1901, in Michigan, he married Mamie Catherine Berger, July 27, 1944, at Garden City. He was a retired laborer and lived here since 1942. He was a WWII veteran.
Survivors are the widow; brothers: Carl Sypher, Dalhart, Tex.; Orville (Bus) Sypher, Greensburg; sisters: Mrs. Bessie Dargel, Greensburg; Mrs. Iva Lance, Guymon, Okla.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Fleener Chapel; Rev. Keith Dellenbach. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
Friends may call at the chapel 4 to 9 p.m. Friday. Family suggests memorials to the American Heart Association in care of Greensburg State Bank.
