Mary Ann Parks, 49, of Groves, Texas, died Friday, July 5, 2013, at Christus Hospital St. Mary, Port Arthur, Texas.
She was born on August 9, 1963, to Eloise and Guy Parks, in Port Arthur, Texas and had been a lifelong resident of the area.
Mary liked spending time outdoors, especially gardening and fishing. She also enjoyed visiting with others and never met a stranger. Most of all, she loved her family.
Mary is survived by her daughter, Shanna Parks Smoke; two grandchildren; brother, Otis Parks
and numerous nieces, nephews, uncles, and aunts.
She is preceded in death by her parents; and brother, George.
Interment to follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery, Chester, Texas.
