Ada McGuire Crum, 83, of St. Joseph, formerly of Tuscola, died at 7:05 a.m. Saturday (July 6, 2013) at Country Health Care, Gifford.
She was born July 7, 1929 in Terre Haute, Indiana to Fred and Helen Bennett Mathes. She married Judson F. McGuire on Nov. 10, 1946 in Tuscola. He passed away April 5, 1995. She married Hubert E. Crum on Sept. 20, 1997. He passed away March 25, 2012. She was also preceded in death by her son, Rick McGuire; four brothers, Bill, Herb, Bob and Jim Mathes; two sisters, Ida Messamore and Lohene Sims and her parents.
Surviving are her children, Tim (Debbie) McGuire, Tom (Jan) McGuire and Micki (Lowell) Suits; eight grandchildren, Greg McGuire, Brian McGuire (Stacy), Jon McGuire, Andrew McGuire, Jennie McGuire (Dave Burke), Ben McGuire (Sara), Tammy Ingram (Jasen) and Dave Suits (Melissa); 10 great-grandchildren, Alyssa, Emily, Nicholas, Zachary, Logan, Evan, Kailyn, Lucas, Avery and Tanner.
She is also survived by one stepson, Richard (Kathy) Crum; two stepdaughters, Brenda (Ray) Baker and Glenda McMinn; three step-granddaughters, Keli, Christie and Tracy; three step- grandsons, Rick, Nick and Ray (Cassandra) and 10 step great-grandchildren, Casey, McKenzie, Bryson, Amaya, Josh, Alexis, Kortney, Trevor, Cassie and Samantha.
