Fred E. Circle Dies After Illness Here
Fred E. Circle, 67, manager of the New Castle Loan Co. since it's establishment in 1915, died this morning at 10 o'clock at his home, 614 Indiana Ave., following an illness of five months.
Mr. Circle came here in 1915 from Marion and organized the loan company which he had managed continuously. Mr. Circle was a member of the Christian Church and was a member of the Masonic and Elks Lodges.
Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Hazel Circle; two daughters: Mrs. Florence Lawter of New Castle and Mrs. Margaret Robinson of SC; a son, Roger Circle of Muncie; two sisters: Mrs. Ella Barrett of New Castle and Mrs. Mary McKay of Indianapolis; and nine grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Stanley Mortuary after noon Friday and services will be conducted there Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock with Rev. R. Melvyn Thompson officiating. Burial will be in the South Mound Cemetery.
