Edward Arnold, was the son of the late Thomas and Mary Arnold. He was a native of County Cork, Ireland, and was employed by the Nicholson File Company for thirty years, until their removal from Central Falls. He was an old and esteemed resident of Pawtucket, for the last sixty years of his life. He died at his residence, 32 Grace street, August 16, 1904. He was survived by his wife, Johanna Stanton, the youngest daughter of Edmund Stanton and Johanna Gallagher, of Midleton, Cork, Ireland. He was buried on August 18, 1904 in Old St Mary's Cemetery in Pawtucket, RI. The bearers were his wife's nephews James and John Stanton and his nephews Thomas J., William J., Timothy J., and Edward T. Arnold.
