Beverly Grace Anthony, 72, of Brookneal,VA died Wednesday, July 11, 2007. She was the wife of the late Gerald W. Anthony.
Mrs. Anthony was born October 17, 1934, in Marshfield, VT, a daughter of the late Edward P. Duke, Sr., and Grace Wynonna George Duke. She was retired from Dan River Manufacturing with 30 years of service.
She is survived by her daughter, Genise Millner, and husband, Joseph, of Lynchburg; her sons, Kerry S. Anthony of Brookneal, Kevin Anthony and wife Kristi of Brookneal, and Keith Anthony and wife Shirley of Manassas; her sister, Audrey Huntington, and a brother, Dwight Duke, both of Marshfield, VT; seven grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Everett George, Edward P. Duke, Jr., and Bernard Duke.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 14, 2007, from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. at Tharp Funeral Home, Lynchburg VA. A funeral service will be conducted on Sunday, July 15, 2007, at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Tharp Funeral Home, Lynchburg. VA A graveside service will follow at 3:00 p.m. in Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery in Hat Creek, Virginia
