William "Willie" was the oldest son of Jethro McKee Sr.(1826-1863) and Frances Elizabeth "Bettie" Ritchie McKee Foster(1839-1875 #13913850). His step father was James Edward Foster (1830-1885). William's siblings are: James Ward McKee(1858-1933 #97391125), Mary Katherine "Katie" McKee Reichardt(1861-1955 #76922241), Jethro Andrew "Jesse" McKee(1864-1938 #80700072), Emma Jane Foster Ferguson(1870-1957) and John Edward "Ed" Foster(1873-1960 #13896515). William and his wife, Hellen, had five children: child McKee(buried 1-13-1882), Helen Elizabeth "Libbie" McKee(1878-1879), Augusta Ward McKee Lidstone(1880-1976), Jean E. McKee(born Dec.1883)and Wilna R. McKee DeTreville(1888-1978). William R. McKee was a grocery store owner in Houston, Texas. Later, he moved to Gainesville, Texas. He died in St.Louis where his daughter Ward lived.
