Beat, Mary Gladys "Dood" (Elmore), 74, retired Dr. Cowles and Dr. Edwards receptionist, died Wednesday, May 31, 2000. Rosary 7 p.m. today, DeVorss Flanagan-Hunt Mortuary; service 10 a.m. Saturday, Christ the King Catholic Church.

Survivors: husband, Edwin; son, Sam of Wichita; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. Memorials have been established with Christ the King Catholic School and Hospice Inc.
