The funeral of Mrs. John Thompson of Crandon, formerly of Brillion, who passed away at the Bellin Hospital, Green Bay on August 26, was held today at the Freden's Evangelical Church. Pastor Paul Kasper officiated and interment was in the city cemetery. The pallbearers were S.T. Barnard, W.F. Schlei, Henry Schaube, A.B. Haase, Herman Pickruhn, and E. Reinhardt. Mrs. Thompson, formerly Miss Amelia Abel, died following a serious operation.
She is survived by her two sons, Miles of Lancaster and Frederick at home; three daughters, Miss Verna at Laona, Mrs. Johnson of Crandon, and Mrs. Rogers, also of Crandon; four brothers, Henry and William Abel of Brillon; Fred of Springdale, and August of South Dakota. Mr. Thompson preceded his wife in death in 1927.
