(VALLEY) Lola V. Baldwin, 97, of Valley died Sunday, June 30, 2002, at Lanier Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Baldwin was born in Randolph County on Dec. 31, 1904, daughter of the late Martha Jane Sherrer Mickle and William Mickle. She was a homemaker and was very active in West End Baptist Church, Valley, where she worked with the Missionary Society.
Mrs. Baldwin is survived by two daughters, Louise B. Coleman and Marie B. May of Valley; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rufus Baldwin.
Services will be at Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel in Valley at 2 p.m. EDT on Wednesday, July 3, with burial in Pleasant Grove Cemetery in the Broughton community in Randolph County. The Rev. Jeff Edwards and the Rev. Thomas Waldrep will officiate.
Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to one's favorite charity or organization in her memory.
Arrangements are by Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home, Valley.
