94 years of Frederick town, Pa., died Wednesday. November 28, 1973 at
5:05 a.m. in the Washington Hospital, Washington, Pa. She was born June
24. 1879 in Guisvorough, Yorkshire,
England. She was the daughter of the
late Robert and Hanna h
Featherstone Firbank. She had been
a resident of Fredericktown for the
past sixth-six years. She was
member of the First United
Methodist Church of Fredericktown
and was a charter member of the
United Methodist Women of the
church and a member of the Women's Benefit Assn. of Belle Vernon. Surviving are six daughters
Mrs. Ruth Moore, Mrs. Evalin
Madigan and Mrs. Ethel lard in all of
Fredericktown, Mrs. Hannah Ewing
of N. Port Charlotte, Fla., Mrs.
Josephine Yoders of Rices Landing
and Mrs. Alice M. Williams ol
Fredericktown; a sister, Mrs, Ethel
Culp of Belle Vernon; 16
grandchildren ; 23 greatgrandchildren. She was preceded in
death by her husband, John William
Carroll on April 5. 1951; two sons,
Dr. Dell D. Carroll on March 1967;
Col. John W. Carroll on March 1968;
three sisters and a brother. Friends
will be received in the Greenlee
Funeral Home, Fredericktown today
and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
and until Saturday at 2 p.m. the hour
of service. Rev. Charles K. Sowden
will officiate. Interment in
Fredericktown Cemetery
