Tommy L. Chapman "Frog"

Our wonderfully hard-headed but fun-loving father was a man who spent most of his time traveling in the fast lane.

Born January 6, 1947 in Kansas City, Missouri. He spent his early years wandering the country before (not quite) settling down in Utah to raise a family.

He loved anything Harley-Davidson and had a passion for classic cars, especially the muscle cars of the 60's and 70's. He spent many years on racing teams and was able to fix anything automotive or otherwise.

After 65 adventuresome years his big, loving heart just couldn't take anymore, and he passed away on June 4, as quickly as he liked to live.

He is preceded in death by his son Justin and second wife Dawn Tolman, with whom he maintained a friendship even after their divorce. He is survived by his sister Kathy Cummings, brothers Richard and Michael Kirkendall and children Tony, Misty Dawn and Dustin Lee Chapman, as well as two grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers contributions can be made at any Wells Fargo Bank under Tommy L. Chapman Fund to help cover the funeral and expenses.

A celebration of life will be held Thursday evening at 7 p.m. at the Broomhead Funeral Home 12600 So. 2200 W. where friends may call one hour prior to services.
