Margaret C. Munley, formerly of 3242 Green St., Susquehanna Twp. died Saturday in Holy Spirit Hospital.

She retired as executive secretary to the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission chairman; was a former member of the Governor's Board for the Pennsylvania Council on Aging; a former White House senior intern; a former Catholic Diocese of Harrisburg delegate to the Ecumenical Council of Churches; a former delegate to the White House Council on Aging; a former American Red Cross volunteer; a member of Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Harrisburg, and a founding member of its Legion of Mary and the Diocesan Council of Catholic Women; and a member of the Pennsylvania Association of Retired State Employees, Elizabeth Ann Seton Club and Irish Heritage Society.

She was the widow of Joseph T. Munley. Surviving are two daughters, Martha M. Pasquale of New Smyrna, Fla., and Mary M. Borthwick of New Hope; three sisters, Sister Mary Marthine and Sister Mary Therese, both of Carbondale, and Elizabeth McDermott of Stratford, Conn.; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
