Life's Work/Service/Interests: Kevin had many experiences throughout his life of service and sharing his talents. Kevin loved life with the challenges and joys that it brought to him. He cared and loved others, love was given in return. Kevin dedicated his time, energy and effort to make others happy without thinking of himself. One example, in 1976, after graduating from high school, his Grandmother Gunn asked him to come to Utah from California and live with her, due to the recent passing of his Grandfather Gunn. He made many sacrifices for others but still was able to enjoy life and make vacation trips to California and other sites. He loved watching and participating in sports, such as basketball in high school, church basketball and umpiring softball games for the city of Coalville. As the umpire, he gained respect from his peers and others, as Kevin was stalwart in his decisions of the game. He enjoyed the excitement of the game and the people involved. The outdoors was another enjoyment where he would bask in God's creations on the mountains hunting or relaxing. He loved life and what it meant for him. He loved working with leather, woodworking and technology. He shared his talent with others. Kevin worked at many different jobs, including: construction, sheetrock, retail, computer operator and Smiths Department Manager. He was respected and admired by many. He liked times for sharing, playing or just goofing off. Kevin gave of himself freely to make others happy and expected nothing in return. After a courageous battle with cancer, Kevin E. Gunn was called to his home in heaven to be greeted by his Heavenly Father and loved ones. Kevin left this earthly life surrounded by family on June 30, 2013.
