Obituary from The Blade, Toledo paper August 27, 1974:

Frank A. Furfaro, 82, of 1419 Macomber St., long active in local Democratic circles, died today in his home.

Mr. Furfaro had been a Democratic precinct committeeman in Ward 13 for 23 years, as well as secretary of the Columbus Lodge, Sons of Italy, from 1940 to 1968.

He retired 13 years ago after 35 years with the Lucas County road repair and maintenance department.Mr. Furfaro was known in his neighborhood for his large truck garden which he maintained until his death.

Surviving are his wife, Madeline; sons, Frank, Jr.,Albert and Robert Furfaro; daughters, Mrs Mary Huffman and Mrs. Joann Shamy and brothers, Joseph and Mercurio Furfaro.

Services will be Friday at 11 AM in St. Ann's Church. The Rosary will be recited Thursday at 8 pm in the Ansberg-West Mortuary, where the body will be Wednesday after 2 pm.
