Edna lost her long battle with Alzheimer's; she was born May 10, 1934 in Louisville, Nebraska. At the age of 8, she and her family moved to Bellflower, California. Edna met the love of her life, Glenn Vance while they were in high school. Glenn and Edna were married December 16, 1950, celebrating their 61st wedding anniversary in 2011. They moved to Lakewood in 1956 to rear their family. Edna was crazy about her grandchildren and loved to baby-sit them. She never missed a school play, soccer game or camping trip. Edna loved off-roading through the desert in their dune buggy and the countless weekend pool parties with her family. Edna is survived by her husband, Glenn Vance of Lakewood, CA; children, Michael and Ron Vance and Sandy (Vance) Adams. She is also survived by her eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
