He served in the U.S. Army for 22 years. After his retirement he worked as a civilian at Fort Leavenworth, KS. He was a member of Sacred Heart Church, Leavenworth, KS.
Louis was preceded in death by his parents, wife, two brothers and one sister. He is survived by his two daughters, Connie Liberty and Floyd, Weston, MO and Christie Aull, Asheville, N.C. and one son, Alex Aull and Melanie Lansing KS. two grandsons- Darryl Liberty and Gary Liberty; one granddaughter Ashley Aull and seven great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers family suggests memorial contributions to the Alzheimer's Association. Visitation will be from 6:00 till 8:00 p.m. Sunday, June 23, 2013 at the Davis Funeral Chapel, 531 Shawnee St, Leavenworth, KS. Inurnment will follow at a later date in the Fort Leavenworth National Cemetery.
