(Nee Bender) Joined her beloved husband, F. Wayne, of 45 years, Monday, July 21, 2008, at the age of 73. Loving mother of David, Liz (Mike) Peter and Jim. Proud grandma of Susan, Stephen, Scott, Stephanie Taddey, Kelly Scott, Morgan, Jonathan and Sophie Peter. Sister of Alice Bender. Also loved by cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Fox Point Lutheran Church or the National Cathedral Association would be appreciated. Memorial Gathering Friday, July 25, 9-11AM. at FOX POINT LUTHERAN CHURCH, 7510 N. SANTA MONICA BLVD. Memorial Service at 11AM with reception to follow. Inurnment Calvary Cemetery at 2:30PM. Please meet at cemetery. Anna May dedicated her life to service. She worked and volunteered at St. John's on the Lake, United Cerebral Palsy, National Cathedral Association, Pilot Club of Milwaukee, Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra, Women's Club of Whitefish Bay and Milwaukee. She was able to do all this and be a loving wife, mother and cook. If you were ever lucky enough to eat at her table, you know what we are talking about. She lived her life with class, grace and compassion, and she will be truly missed.
