Franklin Roosevelt "Frank" Nichols, 78, of Wilson passed away Thursday.

Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Monday at Joyner's Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Maplewood Cemetery.

The family will receive friends 6 – 8 p.m. Sunday at Joyner's Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway and other times at the home.

Frank retired as an Assistant Manager with Roses after 22 ½ years. He enjoyed woodworking and fishing. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Frank is survived by his wife, Iris Williams Nichols of Wilson; his daughter, Nancy Carolyn Nichols of Wilson; his son, Joseph Franklin Nichols of Wilson and a number of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul B. and Mary Vick Nichols; one sister and ten brothers.

Flowers are welcome or memorials may be directed to a charity of one's choice.
