NOAH LEE SPRUNGER, 81, of 224 Vennum Ave., a Mansfield resident of one year, died today at Mansfield General Hospital following a one year illness.
Mr. Sprunger was born at Dalton, OH, February 3, 1875. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Grace Brethren Church.
Surviving are his wife, the former Lydia Kisling Dinges Sprunger; four children by a former marriage, Rev. Vernon Sprunger, a missionary in the Congo region of Africa, Milo Sprunger of St. Joseph, Michigan, Orlo Sprunger of Ada, OH, and Glen Sprunger of Mansfield; a daughter, Mrs. Glen Morrison of Wadsworth, OH; three sisters, Mrs. Albert Hatt and Miss Esther Sprunger of North Lawrence, OH, and Miss Agnes Sprunger, a retired missionary living at Berne, IN. There are also are number of grand and great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at the Jones Memorial in charge of Rev. Henry Sabo, pastor of the Christian Apostolic Church. Burial will be in Lexington Cemetery.
