Dennis Lee Elmore Sr., 84, died Sunday, February 2, 2003 in Tuomey Regional Medical Center. Born in Lee County, he was a son of the late Clarence E. Elmore and the late Mary E. Beasley Elmore . He was a founding member of Holy Cross Presbyterian Church and a current member of Bondovlove Baptist Church. He had retired from Carolina Coca-Cola Bottling Company after 35 years of service. He was the 1982 recipient of the Friends of Sumter High School award.
