OBITUARY; November 1964: Della E. Doolittle, 90, RR1, died early this morning at the Hancock Memorial Hospital.
A former resident of South Bend, she had lived in Wilkinson for the past few years. Mrs. Doolittle was a member of the South Bend Gospel Tabernacle.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Joy Mock, Leavenworth; Mrs Gladys Staley, New Castle, Mrs. Naomi Knepper, Toledo, OH; three sons, Edison Doolittle, Wilkinson; Glenn Doolittle, Miami, FL; and Wayne Doolittle, Muncie; nine grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
The body was taken to the Condo and Son Funeral Home, where friends may call after 7 o'clock this evening.
Funeral services will be at 11 am Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Ralph Blodgett of the Willow Branch Methodist church officiating. Burial will be in the McCray Cemetery near Wilkinson.
