William C. McManimon, 90 died Sat. Jan. 27, 1979 at Valley View Nursing Home in Houston, Minn.
He was born June 18, 1888 in Houston County to James and Bridget McManimon., On Nov. 16, 1920 he married Charlotte Kelly in Caledonia, MN. She died in Sept. 1962. He was a member if St, Joseph's Catholic Church of Rushford and the Knights of Columbus.
Survivors include two sons, James, Waterloo, Iowa; and Paul, Buena Vista, Colo.; two daughters, Sister Frances McManimon, Albert Lea, Minn.; and Mrs. Leroy (Eleanor) Carlson, Golden, Colo.; six grandchildren, one brother, Joseph, Rushford, Minn. Preceding him in death were three brothers and two sisters.
Services were held at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Tues., Jan. 30, 1979, with Rev. Father Donald Grubisch officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.
Casket Bearers were: Werner Bunke, Fergus Sanders, Michael J. Kelly, Raymond, Edward & Neil McManimon.
