COQUILLE - Services for Lancelot Arthur Whereat, 87, who died at Mast Hospital, Coquille, July 5, will be from Schroeder Brothers Mortuary Wednesday at 10:30 a.m.
Blanco Lodge of Coos Bay will officiate. The body will be sent to Alhambra, California for burial.
Whereat, who was born in Bristol, England, December 8, 1866, had lived in Coos County for 34 years and worked as a civil engineer. He had lived at his son's home in Coquille the past 1-1/2 years.
He is survived by two sons, Ernest of Coquille and Arthur of Coos Bay, a daughter, Sister Mary Ursula of Marylhurst College, Portland, one grandchild and two great grandchildren.
