Jo Lynn Peterson Jones
Jo Lynn Peterson Jones was born October 11th. 1965 to Orville and Donna Petersen in Cottonwood Idaho. Jo Lynn was raised in Kooskia Idaho. attended school in the Kooskia area, and graduated in the 1983 Class. She furthered her education Lewis Clark College and completed her studies at BSU completing her degree in social work.
Jo Lynn met her husband Brian Jones and married on September 13th, 1997. Where she was a loving wife and they lived in the Boise & Nampa area. On December 1st, 2005 they were blessed with their son Sammy and at this point she made the decision to leave her job at the State of Idaho to be a wonderful full time mother. Family was always first in Jo Lynn's eyes.
Jo Lynn enjoyed traveling to the Oregon coast, reading, and summer camping trips and an avid gardner making her own salsa and spaghetti sauce.
Jo Lynn has left behind her husband Brian, son Sammy, her mother Donna Peterson and mother in law Mary Jones, uncles and aunts. All loved and will sadly miss her.
Jo Lynn had just learned she was ill when God called her home. She passed away on June 27th at a Boise hospital surrounded by her husband, mother, and other family members.
Services will be held on July 10th at 11:00 am at Trenary Chapel in Kooskia, Idaho where she will be layed to rest next to father.
