This is Nathaniel Benjamin Acree also know as Nathaniel Burgess. On another site he is listed as Nathaniel Benjamin Acree but there are a few things wrong. Nathaniel is my 2 Great Grandfather and his parents are not John R. Acree and Mary Brown. George Heneley Acree ( Great Grandfather) and Martha Jane Acree Stubblefield are not Mary Matlida Rowlett's Children. This information taken from Nathaniel Acree.s Will and the Acree Bible.

Nathaniel's parents were Henry (Henlee) Acree and Mary Ives. He was married three times 1) Elizabeth Louisa Hamilton, 2) Mary Matlinda Rowlett, 3) Emeline Spence. Nathaniel and Elizabeth were maried 26 July 1840 in Stewart Count Tennessee
They had three children: John Alexander Acree born 1842, George Heneley Acree ( my great grandfather) born 1844 and Martha Jane Acree born 1845 she married William Stubblefield.

Nathaniel and Mary Matlida had twelve children. There were no children with Emiline Spence.
