Like many young marriages this one ended in divorce. She worked for awhile as a sales clerk at Forms, then went on to work as a dispatcher for the cab co. During this time she married a few times. She finally met the man she would be with until she passed. They met at a factory where he made brass fittings and she was a inspector. They married in 1958.

She took her son Raymond on several trips to Canada were her mother was born and her grand parents lived. These are some of his fondest memories.
