MARBLEHEAD - Sarah (Mason) Pineles, 90, of 5721 Grosvenor Lane, Bethesda, Md., and formerly of Marblehead, died Saturday at the Suburban Hospital in Bethesda. She was the wife of the late Bernard Pineles.

Mrs. Pineles was born in Boston, and was the daughter of the late William and Agnes (Lewis) Mason.

She was a homemaker and had been a resident of Marblehead for 34 years before moving to Bethesda in 1970.

Mrs. Pineles was a member of Grace Church and of St. Peter's Church, both of Salem. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star of Salem and Marblehead and remained a member of the Marblehead chapter until her death.

She is survived by a son, Bernard Pineles of Rockville, Md.; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Eustis & Cornell Funeral Home at 2 p.m.
