HAMILTON - Johnnie Roberts, 78, Hamilton, died on September 3, 1996, in the Marion Baptist Medical Center in Hamilton. He was born on April 29, 1918 in Marion County, the son of John and Della Roberts Roberts. He was retired and a veteran.
Funeral services were held on Thursday, September 5, 1996 at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Hamilton Funeral Home with burial in the Chestnut Grove Cemetery near Hamilton. Jack Harder was the officiating minister.
Survivors include his wife - Flora Roberts, Hamilton; four sisters - Ada Baggett and Carrrell Shotts, both of Hamilton, Vida Emerson, Hackelburg, and Cleo Crumpton, Pinson; two brothers - Ozell Roberts and Elmo Roberts both of Hamilton.
Hamilton Funeral Home directed the services.
